I bought a blue one from argos and it left marks on the bonnet where the rain water leaked through and the elastic was crap so it would blow about and end up down the street. I bought a fitted one from carcoverzone and its spot on, its waterproof and has 2 straps that go underneath the car to keep it on when its windy.

I have a monsoon cover from cover-zone and can vouch for their quality.

They are top money but then you definitely get what you pay for.

Look out for one on ebay as I got mine second hand but in mint condition for just £30

if you really do have to use a cover just a few tips i found when using one, bought for well over 100 quid decent quality but even the best can damage your car. i would only use for a short time as moisture can build up under any cover ,cold sunny day for instance, make sure the car is in a sheltered spot as wind can cause the cover to move any movement will result in the paint being worn away, i know this from experience,
