Cabrio Speaker set up

I've just fitted a full Sportline interior to my 83 cabrio and am now moving onto putting some speakers in. as far as i know I can fit 5 1/4" units up front in the now bigger door pocket/pods and still only 3 1/2" in the rear panels. I have the standard tweeters that came with the Sportline interior and will be running a 4 x 50w Kenwood Head unit with no extra amp. Just looking for decent sound and would like to know what fellow cabby drivers have done. Cheers

I have later door pockets, run Kenwood headunit with Alpine 5 1/4 door speakers, Lanzar tweeters not located in factory position and a small sub in the boot. To get any bass you need a small sub, plus definition of the tweeters lifts the sound out of the footwell. As for rears, a bit of rear fill won't go amiss

I've got a pretty basic setup atm im running 4" in front and back with a fli 1000w active sub kit and a pioneer headunit but im relatively happy with it considering its only an 8th of the power of my sound system thats just waiting to be fitted :D but as lunch says a sub is definately a good start pick them up for ?100 really from halfrauds

edit as i now have an 8000w sub kit with 2000w standard 6x9's lol BOOOM BOOOM

big/loud exhausts save lives
