Cabrio in Scotland in April
First surprize was the weather was sunny and perfectly fine to take the roof down. Although I did relent one day when the kids moaned it was really cold when we got inland and we were just at the snbw line. Was still bright mind you, will admit it was a tad cold. Damn far warmer/brighter than manchester today for sure.
Second surprize the roads and lack of other traffic, absolute joy to drive on and mostly on your own.
Thirdly 1200+ miles covered without a hitch, which for a car that gets used on warm summer days only is fantastic. Hardly a surprize to those that use theirs on a daily baisis. But a solid thumbs up to german reliability and showed the neighbours who thought we were brave/daft going north of the lakes in a car thats 20 years old.

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.
