Cab Hood repairs in SE England

Had a disaster yesterday, went to put the roof up (electric) and one of the rams had become disconnected and pierced a hole in the side of my mohair hood (which was immaculate and only a year or so old) there's no fabric missing, just a split about 10mm, and it's quite a clean cut, does anyone know of a decent trimmer/specialist who could do an invisible repair, or am i looking at a new hood, if so any recommendations for a supplier reasonably close to Brighton would be great.

i wouldnt consider a new hood! you can repair it yourself, you can by waxed cotton and special fabric needles from a chandlers (boat shop :wink: ) the repair would never be invisible but would make it look a lot better and re secure it prevent it ripping further
