Well mileage is unimportant really as mechanicals are easy its condition and if its good then price sounds good

Bottom ends are good for 250k miles - if its had a rebuild then engine should be ok. If body/trim is good, I'd go for it!

Mine has 185k on it and it runs sweet and the bodywork is sound.  I'll be rebuilding my engine over the next few months so you're already ahead of me.  If it runs well, body work is good and no real issues mechanical/bodywork wise then I'll take it for that price if you don't…    …they're just brilliant fun and that sounds like a good price.

We're all going to have cars of 200k+ at some point unless you keep them garaged anyway (they're MEANT to be driven) and they're not likely to come down in price… they're an investment  really!! :dontknow:

If your happy with the car then go for it mate.

It sounds good to me Kyle, mine's on 228K and still goes like stink and hasn't had a rebuild. I'd go for it - it's much easier to mess with engines than sorting out bodywork and paint.

Mileage shouldn't put anyone off, as said Mk1's (tin-tops) are 25 years old+ and I'd say 10K miles a year is the average, so anything below 250K is good.  :)
