best way to fill my arches
Can anyone tell me the best way to fill my golf gti wheel arches? What size alloys/tyres or spacers are required? It would be a great help.

If its simply for looks, then I think you're going down the wrong track. A little bit of lowering & keeping the stock alloys and ET, is wot I did.

I have the original 9 spoke on the golf at the moment and a set of 15" bbs alloys which are in need of a refurb. Would lowering the koni adjustables and sticking on the bbs do the job?

it depends on who you ask
Paul C's is LOW with standard alloys on and they fill the arches, check out PROJECT HOF link below and I've 14" P's and lowered about 60mm ish and they fill the arches.
So it really depends on how low you want to go, after all, a 195/50 on a 15" rim has the same rolling radius as a 175/70 on a 13" rim..
so if you go for the 15" with say 195/40/15 on they will look smaller then the standards

filled?
depends on how you mean filled i suppose and how much arch work your willing to do,this is 8x15 et20 lowered lots and a large amount of arch work, the ding in the wing is from flattening the return lip then bringing that out to the angle of the arch but accidently going beyond and kinking the upper portion of the wing

i'm about 15-20 mm off the lowest on the coils i think, runnign 165-50/15 tyres with a small stretch (much to my dads disgust who keeps giving me teh same lecture about wishbones/tyres/suspension. - just fitted new wish bones at ?10 a piece with bushes ) altho i think after edition and festival she'll go up a bit for a more practical time/going easier on her… then she'll be back down for show season!
Alex's noise maker is pure sex! i love it sooo much…
