BBS RM 8J 15 " ON SPORTLINE CABBY

:redfaced:

Hi Need a little advice.

i have just put some bss rm 8j wheels on the cabby now the problem i face is that the front centre caps for the wheels went on perfect but the rears don't seem to sit on correctly do you think this centre cap is hitting the hub cap at the rear any advice would be great on how i can rectify this i have tried hitting the cetre with a a hammer and bit of wood but don't want to hit it to hard for obvious reasons

You could just remove the hub cap and you should still have a split pin and a locking cap. I think it would still be fine without the cap. Perhaps squeeze the hub cap in a vice...

Cheers Hugh.

or hit it with a hammer until its a bit flatter or use spacers

spacers and longer bolts (please dont forget longer bolts) :D would solve it, i have the same issue with my 8's on the rear, the centre cap gets forced out when they hit the centre bore of the hub. i wouldnt hit it anymore as you might crack the BBS centre cap….expensive!

All over mate from ebay to euro car parts. Spacers are never the best idea so always buy the minimum you can get away with.

Tillo - what size tyre are you running and how are these for rubbing? I'm looking at going 7.5 front and 8 rear but dont want to do much / any arch chopping!! Maybe just a trim of the kit 8O
