BBS RA 15's???????

Bought a set of BBS RA 15's off ebay, i've read many different things about fitting, ie offset, sitting on the hubs correctly, longer wheel studs etc, i have a 91 cabby sitting on a set of tarantulas at the minute, any advice please, i thought they shoud have fitted straight on?

Information on the wheels is:-

6Jx15
H2
ET49
INTRA
GM
KP

These are all stamped on the wheels, i'm assuming the GM is Vauxhall???

You have brought a set of Vauxhall intra's as fitted to cavaliers etc.

Will these not fit then??????

If they are vauxhall the c/b will be a bit small.

All depends on what the listing says. If they said they would fit a MK1 then get your money back.

BBS RA MK2 VW GOLF 15 inch Alloys 4x100 RARE

here we have a set of 4 BBS RA Alloy wheels

15 Inch

6Jx15H2 ET49

these are 4 stud x 100 fitment

come with tires

1 x almost new falken

1 x 4mm tread remaining

2 x on limit (but still just legal) tires

the wheels are in pretty good condition

but would benefit from being refurbished as have some scratch and kerb marks

even having them refurbished plus the price i'm asking is cheaper thean buying a set of replicas of these wheels as they can retail at over £100 per wheel

i'd prefer collection but am willing to get them couriered looking at about £45.00 for that

if collecting then cash on collection please.

I like the wheels, i think the centre bores as you say will need re-boring/machining, but would everything else be ok?

Also…the offset is too high i think, for VW

Its sounds like he has just sent you the wrong wheels by mistake??? if they have ebay feedback over 2000 they will sort it out as they won't want you to leave negative feedback.

Raise a paypal dispute if u paid via that mate on grounds there not 'BBS RA MK2 VW GOLF 15 inch Alloys 4x100' -  not made by 'bbs', not 'RA's', not for a 'VW Golf'.

If you like em, trial fit one for the centre bore, but even if fits to get the std VW et…you will need spacers really…or will sit a little inwards (Ok if the rim was wider, but 6js not)

If you paid £150 and you still need to arse about…i'd say not worth it unless there mint, but the discription portrays the need a lil work. Raise dispute and settle for partial refund on worst case.

Apparently he's been running these on his vw mk2 gti for 2 years, my cabby is in the garage for yes, you got it, more problems, when its back i will try them, if not, one way ticket to Cornwall.

The wheels in the pics are not RA's they are intra's
