bahn brenner in my mk1 16v

whats involved in fitting a bahn brenner charger in my mk1, its fitted with a 2.0 16v 9A engine, what parts do i need and what do i need to do to the engine to accomodate it? any help would be much appreciated, cheers in advance

you need to lower compression by either spacer head gasket or correct pistons

this is not a straight forward conversion, the additional parts required in cluding charger can be well over 1500

if you visit the bahn brenner website it does give a list of parts required using either a g60 block and kr head or a kr engine complete as a base

also factor in the costs of stand alone management and setup

if you search on golfgti.co.uk or club gti there are a few articles on it

but be prepared to have deep pockets,

btw any sort of power over 200bhp you would probably also required an lsd to get the power down. lsd is 600 alone without the fitting
