Are the ebay panels any good?

You seem to be able to pick up most panels off ebay, ie the sills, front and rear valance etc…. are they any good? Or are they just ill fitting copies that shouldn't be touched?

Hadrian panels or Imperial panels are all the same, inferior fitment to the originals… But what isn't?

The problem is that to get an aftermarket panel to fit may cost more than the original panel( just in labour to fit it correctly).  However someone like crazy quiffs may be able to get you a used original panel.  Just depends what you want.

I have one original wing and one aftermarket, the weight diference is suprising TBH.  But i will be heading down this road myself in the next 6 months as i start to put the car back together.

i think most panels for sale on ebay are hadrian , i see beevers are selling on ebay now, bonnets doors tailgates and wings its best to find good 2nd hand but i use hadrian sills and arch panels and the axle mounts and they are all decent enough i reckon , i tried a few pattern wings on my project mk1 and i didnt like the fit and the tinnyness of the panel so i waited untill i got 2nd hand genuine ones.cheers
