It looks nice, and very original, though it doesn't look as "Showroom" clean as I would like if I was paying anywhere near that kind of money! The tyre walls are dirty!

Yea I thought the presentation and photos where a bit.. err.. underwhelming.

mine only had 40,000 miles on it, ok it wasnt perfect but it was getting there…. got it for 100 quid, would of cost me ALOT less to get it to that standard….

all depends if theres a real enthusiast with that kind of wedge, all comes down to what the buyer is willing to pay,

ive recently seen a 4 door swallowtail with genuine low miles for around the 8k marker

I think its a very well written sale & sounds very Genuine & it is the only original gti i No of with that mileage & condition that's being advertised for a while, it all depends on how easy the money is to come buy, if you can afford to stay in £10000 a night hotels then this is just a Snip, but like me if your budget only allows you to stay in Travel inns now & again then at this price I couldn't afford the wheels.
But he clearly says make me a offer of what You think the car is worth?

Something is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. Unfortunately the world is full of people with more money than sense which in turn prices us mere mortals out of the running everytime. It would be nice though to be able to shell out £12000 on what would probably be a garage ornament.
