Anyone else got an Irish Green mk 1?

Not able to find another one online only a caddy.

Mine was registered in Jan '84 as a 1.1c.

Any info on other mk1s the same colour would be gratefully received.

Thanks

according to a quick search - the colour was more likely seen on porsche 911s of early and karmann ghias - but like i say, I've never seen another, and I've been in this game for 4 years.

Maybe you're onto a classic here, i'll continue searching for some history

Thanks, I'll get some pics up when I can. Have found a cabriolet with ats cups in the same colour, that's all so far. You could be onto something with the porsche, but karmann ghias were much earlier than the paint code suggests.

are we assuming that this is the same colour it came out the factory with?

The boot lid (first pic) and the inside is in factory paint, the outside has had a respray, but yes in original colour, as far as I know.

What the paint code on the sticker in the boot or your service book?

If you go to the bodywork section of the forum, at the top there is a sticky that has a lot of the paint codes on there - along with optional extras etc.

Have a look and see if yours is there.

Excellent, now we're cooking!
I think it is quite a rare colour.
Mk1ed; that looks almost exactly like mine, thanks.
Loving the retro old photos and oak green looks good on a cab.
Keep 'em coming, I'll upload some more of mine pretty soon, new wheels going on and exhaust being modded at the moment.
