Any info on my old car?(A981 WMU)

Hi All
 Had a Golf GTI Campaign model a few years ago that i very reluctantly had to sell :cry:   . It was in Helios blue, had three gauges in centre console and had a zender three piece rear spoiler. Registration number A981 WMU. Have checked dvla website and has not been taxed since November 2000. I vaguely remember something about buyer using shell to replace his, that was beyond repair after being hit by a taxi!
 Would like to find any info on car. Is it tucked up, in some garage somewhere? Or has it gone to the scrapyard in the sky?
