Quite a dull car, all told. But the concept of the retractable hard top is kinda cool. Now, if someone had done a hardtop convertible version of the Mk1 Scirocco.....

It would kinda suit the car though, the lines are already quite angular so it would make it not-too-hard to figure where to put all the hinges, etc.

they could call it the scirocco HC  (hatchback convertable).I like your attitude about it not being to hard for the hinges??????????Maybe you should give it a go ,lol
