Aircooled Mk1 Golf?!

Spotted this whilst browsing on VZi.  8O








Not sure why you would want to run an aircooled engine in a Mk1, but it looks the nuts!  8)

LOOK SIIICK!! wow sits so well does it just drop straight over the chassis??

There's not much info about it on VZi, but apparently the floor pan is the same length! It's being built by a guy who Drag races a Beetle in the VWDRC.

From the little info on VZi it sounds like it's going to be running a 2276cc engine on NOS! And it's likely to be unveiled on the strip at Bug Jam.  :dontknow:
