Accelerator pedal fault
Hey guys, i was wondering if someone could help me out.
While i was driving the accelerator pedal dropped, the car was still running but just at idle. I pulled over had a look and the pedal had come away from the hook on the end of the accelerator cable. So I hooked it back on and seemed okay. However further down the road it happened again. I had a look around on the floor and under the mats, but there is no evidence of anything that has fallen off.
Would someone be able to tell me if there is something else that has broken or come off? If someone could take a picture of how their pedal is attached to the cable, it would be very much appreciated. Im not sure if this is a common problem or if it has just happened to me, but any help would be great, i could also take a photo if i have not explained it properly. Its a mk1 cab by the way.
Cheers,
Yogesh

ahh mate, thanks for the really quick response! That's good news, the red bush must have crumbled - i thought it was just mud when i took the mat out!
Thanks again pal.
