absolutely gutted

all ready for e38 tomorrow and my car decides to play up big time. won't start at all now, hopefully it is just the ignition timing that is way out after fitting new carb.

 but then to make it worse si's car starts playing up as well so it looks like we have no chance of getting to edition 38. the mk1 wasn't how i wanted it when it was at leeds, but after some tinkering it was aesthetically and mechanically perfect, couldn't be happier. and now this.

so gutted

cheers hairyarse but i can't see it happening. it's put me and simon both on a proper bad'un. his car randomly cut out and lost all battery charge on the way home and he only finished his g60 conversion a week or 2 ago with a full rebuild so he is bricking it a bit. two 20+ year old cars dying on you the day before you travel 150 miles is a bit of a worry, may be best not to go

things are looking up, si is going to have a go getting the g60 sorted, then try get mine sorted, might still be off not sure if in 1 or 2 cars but better than none!

we got there in the g60! the standard of the cars at the show was unbelievable. only got 2 photos as my phone ran out of battery but my mate had his camera so i will get photos off him later
