A new hood any reconmendations!!??

I want a black on black Mohair! i want a brand new hood I have saved up for a while so I don't care what it costs! I just want QUALITY thats looks right and will last!
I would prefer reconmendations where someone has had it done with photo refrence ect ect and allowed the hood to settle so a picture when first done and a picture at a later date!
I would also like people to tell me where NOT to go!

This is a big deal for me because my hood is pretty much half my car and is as important as a good respray as you can imagine.

p.s I am in the midland, stoke-on-trent but i am willing to travel to get what i want! I am planning on only buying one hood for my car and i want the best!

I havent really got any pics, but on my old cabby i had mine done by sot tops based in croydon, they came out to me and did a black mohair roof/replaced both gas struts, all new cables, plus i also had all black headlining fiited properly.

they travelled about 100miles ot get to me as well, did a great job of it, but cost just over ?600

Hood had a couple of creases but these settled down after a month or 2.

Its now since been sold on and I'm not sure how it is now tho

Don't fancy getting a blue hood then?

Were the original hoods blue cloth?

OK - I found http://www.carhoodsdirect.co.uk/ who came to the house and fitted the new roof today.
Very pleased with the service & fitting took about 3 hours.
?345 in total which I think is OK for A HOME FITTING.

Dont use autotrimmer in milton keynes! Not at all happy with my one.

Well its better since i fiddled around with it but still have black marks from his grubby fingers!

have to back up the recomendation for soft tops in croydon, they did a friends cc cabby and did the best job i have seen yet, going to get them to do my all black cabby when i get the money
think they charged ?450 for the outer and middle horsehair sections

Had mine done in Coventry - cost me ?500 and comes with 5 yr guarantee. Best i've seen even if i do say so myself and i'm a fussy ****.
