This thread was started so i could get a pic of Awesomes Old Peach MK1, but its kinda turned into a walk down memory lane for those of us that were around in the 90's

Last time I saw that car it was parked at the Stafford RAF base on the Weston Road, about 12 years ago mind - if it's the clipper'd VR6 we are talking about. A fantastic car well before it's time. See if I can find any pics….

Now it may not be the cutting edge of fashion these days ,but, that was a quality build and way way ahead of its time!! Loved it then - love it now!! Anyone got any pics of Stu Taylors Golf from the same era??

Not really fashionable these days but perhaps bodykits will be the next big thing again?

Did it appear in any Golf mags as i have a big box full of old ones hidden away.

Was this a factory orignal ?

No it was quite 80's really, but had a few nice touches in the engine bay! The guy worked for Lotus as an engineer I think, but it was a nice motor- early 90's I think. Was in a few mags at the time.

was it not in the Golf mag a couple of years ago painted green by new owner????

Definatly repainted green with polished BBS splits on. Wasn't it for sale on ebay about a year or two ago?

If it's the same car then it's on youtube on a rolling road session. Sounds great.
