i know what you mean, im thinking 17's too big and not sure on a few other bits and bobs, but would like to have that lump, full interior including dash, and the air ride on my normal looking cabby :-)

i bet it goes like stink! 15's would look better i think, it looks like it wouldn't be able to turn.

Suppose if it had a proper tin roof and i had the money i might buy it,then fit some 15,s and the proper dash, be a nice car.

Wheels are way to big and a modern dash don't go with an old car.

Would look way better if it was standard.

if you want a tt buy one. if you want a mk1 buy one. but dont buy a mk1 then turn it in to a tt .waste of time just buy a tt ,,,,,,,,,,,

where's the rest of the roll bar? i hope he's only taken the top off for pics cos otherwise there ain't much point in the uprights being there.

i like the look of it in general though, wouldn't have gone down quite the same route myself but each to his own.

not for me that one.  i understand what he is trying to achieve, but the execution of the ideas has seen it all go wrong.   some great ideas, but no direction ruin it.  and to start bidding at 9k with the reserve set even higher on an unfinished car is a little ambitious imo.  the wheels are just disgraceful!!

That is sooooo overpriced! Hes thinking that hes spent loads on it so its worth that. That is never the case!

as for £48k, the guy has obviously just kept on paying people to do bits on it and basically paid the price lmao, not a chance of even meeting it's starting bid imho!

only my opinion tho, some folk might like cheap big wheels, no door handles and dodgy styling??
