Struggling with a missfire

Hi guys,

Hoping someone can help me with this issue I've got on my Golf MK1. I've got a 1800 block with a 2.0 8v head on it. The cae is running with a dicktator fuel management system. The issue I've got is that the car starts and revs up beautifully, but as soon as I want to drive the car it almost feels asif its got a fuel starvation…but rulled that one out. Could it be the management? I see on the distrubutor it's still got a breathing pipe…isn't that just on carb motors?? Really could use some help on this.
