15" 8j rm's

just fitted these wheels on my golf with 195/50/15 tyres and it rubs a little on the back
and isnt as low as i want it to be.

so now looking for new tyres but dont know what size to go for.

been looking at 195/45/15 but dont know how much difference this will make.

any suggestions??

hi mate my 195/50/15 rubbed i put on 45s and they stopped rubbing i was running fox wheels.
but i then went and bought another set of foxes and they rubbed my front brakes so needed spacers.
to be honest im gona stick with 14 p slots from now on.

I think Nankang do some 185?? Not 100% though.165 would give some serious stretch, but if yiu want to drive quickly you need good tyres, so 195 45 will be your best bet. It all depends if you want show or go?
