1.8t aeb converson

hi all, iv been offered a 1.8t aeb out of an audi a4, is this a simple 1.8t conversion, or are there other 1.8t engines that will go in easyer like ANB/APU/AWT, is there a difference weather its in an a3? 

its not straightforward and theres a couple things you need to get it too run inline but its easily doable. Im going the same route with an AEB block. Pretty documented swap though and theres loads of more informative guides than mine on the web

will a mk2 gti gear box fit on the aeb?

yes but both friends I have that have retained the early box are now on numerous box swaps instead of going to a mk4 box
