Thoughts on MK1 Owners Club - Air-freshners

Hi Guys

Any thoughts on having some MK1 owners club air-freshners??

These were discussed at length last year and we even had a vote on it. This was I have to add a vote on Membership pack free gift though!

If you have a search around you may find the thread and get some more information from there. I personally can't stand air fresheners but I can see the appeal to some and as a cheap merch item I'm sure we'd well a few.

At first I thought "this idea stinks" although on further thought, does seem quite scent-sible.

Well to be honest………………… I would rather see something that represents the MK1 club hanging from my mirror than the silly magic trees that are available!!!!

A 'new car' scent would be a nice smell!!!

I think the air-freshners  are a good idea of cause its not for every one ….but for those who like em yes why not …It good for the club i think :

Well…..Okay Tian M8……. Am up for a few as soon as you got em going at the next show ….Ed 38 …..?As for price….. how about a quid to start ? cheaper than a magic tree !

Anymore takers on these, I really need to know people will want them otherwise they'll just be stinking out some poor sods house for ages while we try and shift them. As for pricing they'll need to be sold in quantity, so not singularly. I'd suggest four or five at a go!

I'd definately buy a couple t my car stinks of damp and diesel…  

i'd buy a pack of 5 or however many you want to sell them in each time, could then come in a shape of a golf ? spose it would be to much of a pain in the arse to do cabby shape ones and tin top shape ones …

Any more news on this Tian.

I recok sell it in lots of 10's or fives.

Try and get a pricing for 1000 of them to start of with & also check on the pricing on 10,000 of them too.
I am sure you will be able to sift it on ebay too.

I'm moving it on but awaiting a proper quote from a supplier. I can't see us ordering as many as 1000 though i have to say! I was thinking of about half that number really. Things don't sell that well mate and people are pulling their belts in massively, even in the run up to Christmas.
