Two tintops and a cabby in Witney, OXON

Visiting family this weekend, was sat out the front of The Fleece in Witney, on the green having a beer with my little bro, and saw these two parked outside;



Not the best pic, but it was really sunny and bright yesterday!  

Then sat chatting away, heard a nice engine note and a lhasa green MK1 goes by. At which point my brother realised it's a mate of his and calls him to come back for a look over his new tintop.



He's had to do some welding on it and painted it (himself - he's a talented chap restoring old racing Bugatti's and the like!) and just got it on the road. It's running a G60 lump, sounds fantastic and he only paid £1250 for it!!   The mechanicals needed no work at all!

Anyway, the MK1 fest put a smile on my face
