Who's best for a modified car that's also a daily driver...
So I'm in the position where I drive a Mk1 5 door on a daily basis. It has a 2.0 litre 16v (ABF) motor, 5 doors, Mk2 GTI 16v front brakes, Std GTI exhaust, Steel Wheels (Mk2), GTI Anti Roll Bars, Mk3 Gearbox. In short, you wouldn't look at its slighty rusty and battered body twice! I'm 37 years old, live in Lincoln and am getting some stupid quotes. My last car was a modified Elise, which was a damn site cheaper to insure than the quotes I'm getting for the Golf. Help please….
Cheers,
Oldfool

£238.80 quoted by Peter Best. There is a mileage limit mind, but having the use of another classic and going away with work for 4 months a year, this shouldn't be a problem. Well done Denise at Peter Best, and my hearty recommendations for them to anyone in the club.
Sweet.
