Very happy with HIC quote

Got a quote from HIC yesterday for my mk1.  It is now a 1.8 16v on Twin 40's and listing all the the mods (coilovers, alloys, SS exhaust, buckets, braces, alarm etc.), they quoted me ?310.

Very happy with this quote as it is a classic policy where you can't use NCB and also can't accrue it.  I'm 25 and been driving 7 years.
This means I can still insure my 328 Sport Coupe for ?400 with Direct Line using my NCB, bargain!!!

Just got to get the car finished for August now  

hi, just been reading through the forum as im looking at buying a mk1 gti. i too got a good price from HIC. i have declaired coilover kit, exhaust and wheels. im 20 and got a quote of ?514 again this means i can get this and also insure my mk2 fiesta as a main car

my only question is do i wait till december 8th as ill be 21 then?
