I decided not to insure with RH since they wanted my car locked in a garage from 10pm till 7am in order for me to have agreed value cover.  Also, I had to go and get a valuation - there is nobody near me where I can get this done.

Hubby and I's Rover V8 Vitesse's are both insured agreed value and the company only requests photographic evidence that it is not a rust-bucket that they are insuring!

Decided I was better off with Performance Direct who limit my miles and ask that the car is garaged but with no 'curfew'.  After all, it doesn't always get back to the in-law's garage when the forecast is good!

Putting Flossie back on the road for 1 June - any shows coming up?

Happy golfing!

Do you think I'd be successful.. 18 yo (maybe worth waiting 'til I'm 19?), would need 20k miles, no NCB, 1.6 GTI.  I'm looking for something less than ?1900 fully comp!!

Thanks.

you might have problems because of your age most classic policys have age limits of 21 or more. ive never had to pay 1900 quid for insurance though although i did get quoted 2850 to insure an rs4 when my girlfriend got a qoute it was only 1100 and shes onlyy 22
