My Insurance is 1600

Hello guys,

I'm new to the forum, and I have just got a Mark 1 golf 1.6 GL Cabrio got insurance quotes and 1600 was the cheapest (so i took it out)

I no a lot of you will think I'm mad especially considering it was 2 times more than the car cost but bear in mind I'm 20…live in Manchester and have had an accident (no entirely my fault 50/50  unmarked cross roads just for reference)  and have no NCB.

for example on my 1.2 Clio it would have been 1100

any one else in my position with stupidly high insurance?

my first year was just over ?1700 third party << that was last year. This year they decided they would like me and only charge me ?700 Well it was a dirrent company but yeah. Thats on a old mk1 106 run a bout tho while i get the mk1 going. God knows what its gona be with a 2L 16v  :twisted: oh well nevermind.

last year my mk4 golf 1.4 was ?2000 as i have 2 claims and 3 points
