Insurance, who do people recommend?
any recommendations??
If it's a classic policy it needs to be cheap for around 7-8k miles a year coz it's gonna be a daily!
Cheers!

get a quote give them your membership number and get 10% discount on your premium
and another thing is you don't get NCD on classic policies usually so no worries there I insure 2 classics with mods and a mk4 GTI, all unlimited mileage business use and wife on policy full comp ?450 all in

i was with them last year, i was 18/19…
HIC for the win!
Ok, they will cover under 25's but told me they cant do GTi's and arent really competitive
I found Peter Best, Premium choice and Adrian flux cheapest following a request from all under 25's to email me who they with..

I'm 24 with 1 year no claims (always drove "my parents" car in the past), used Heritage Insurance for a 1.8 clipper being kept on the road (still awaiting a garage!) 3,000 miles per year, cost me ?180 for the year + ?30 for breakdown cover.
(The breakdown handily took me from a field in Hereford to Warwick on the back of a lorry when Greta decided her fuel pump would just stop…)
Their website is http://www.heritage-quote.co.uk/ if it's any use?

These aren't necessarily the cheapest but there is a lot more to your insurance than just the price! Read the small print because it's when you need to use your cover that you find out how good they really are!

?607 tpft with legal cover and as many mods as I like adding up to ?1500 or 10hp with performance
each one only costs the admin fee of twenty five notes.
So i'm quite chuffed. woould've like it a bit cheaper but unless I only did 3k a year in it was gonna be silly money!
So shall be off to pick me golf up in about 45mins!!!
