Insurance shock/surprise

Just done an online quote on my golf Gti and put down that it's had a non standard turbo charged engine conversion and my insurance went from £198 fully comp for me and her in doors to £233
What a bargain! Think I need to save a little quicker for an engine :mrgreen:

I like to think my high insurance premiums are a tax on my youth and good looks and thus the good/bad balance is restored.

Hi mate,it was with performance direct which is who I'm with now, the green golf is sound,not done a lot to it,just enjoying driving it really  
The Black  one is going to have more welding done to it next week,Ive had it up for sale but no joy as it is a big project and not had much interest in cutting it for panels,mainly because there all rotton   
So I'll keep cracking on with it instead,how's your golf?

I had a similar incident myself thid year.

Only to find when I came back from my holiday, I had a cheque in the post offering a refund of £18 where they overcharged me.
