Is the 325td classified as a classic car? I have heard that 25 yrs old is the age that most cars are classified as classics but I don't think some companies view the MK1 Golf as a classic car either.

Some classic inruers will askf ro a car to be garaged and most insist on limited mileage but not all. I assume you NCB is being used on another car?

I think the issue with your circumstances are that the car you are trying to insure as a classic isn't viewed as a classic by insurers yet??

There's a difference between a classic car, and a car that's just old.

True mate. I think this is why it's not as cheap as perhaps it might be if it were regarded as such.
