insurance help

scouting around for a bit of advice.

I currently have insurance on my suzuki vitara, fatboy. I have since bought a mk1 golf cabby which I also want to insure. How do I go about it?

I need to keep the jeep insured until I sell it and want to insure the golf so I can drive it,  but if i do that I can't use my no claims bonus on the golf also can I?

Really stuck looked into multicar but its gonna work out more in the long run HELP! Any ideas guys.

You can't use no claims bonus on more than 1 car at a time, but some insurers will take it into account to give a discount over an otherwise 0 years NCB scenario.

I guess its up to you to get quotes for all different scenarios and work out the best/cheapest for you. I think you need to decide if you're going to permanently have 2 cars, or one. And if one, then keep one insured and store the other car.

The other option is temporary insurance on one or the other car, for the interim period. Normally they only allow temporary insurance up to a month though, which might not be enough time to sell a Vitara.

Just on the off chance you are with Direct Line. They allow 90 days temporary cover if you have a vehicle insured with them.
