However followed your advice and phoned them, HIC have just got back to me:
6000 Miles a year, TPFT, with all my modifications declared, bumpers, spray job, alloys at 20 with 1 years no claims bonus on a 1.6(as listed on V5).

I know as far as you lot are concerned it's expensive - but i paid ?800 last year as a first time driver TPFT on a 895cc Polo MK1!!!

Limited mileage but you're at uni anyway so that shouldnt be a problem :mrgreen:
have you tried the usual suspects? HIC, Brentacre, Footman James etc?

I'll second that - they are totally useless in my experience when you make a claim. Your milage may vary though…
