For some reason i can not find any insurance cheap enough for me.
I'm 22, had my licence for 2 years and i've got 1 years no claims.
I have a 1992 golf GTi rivage.
EVERYWHERE i look, my quotes are stupid. I've tried all the names off the previous threads and i haven't had a single offer under £1500.
Can someone just give me some names i should try! i've tried;
Moneysupermarket
Confused
Gocompare
Tiger
Sureturm
asda
tesco
directline
aviva
admiral
churchill
flux direct
adrian flux
only young drivers
swinton
Thats all i can list off my head.
Please help.

I'm not clued up on Cabby's but if its a 1.8 and you're under 25, that's your reason.
£1500 isn't that bad and there are other factors that can make it expensive too, like where you live.
You've got to earn the cheap insurance. Mine started off at £1000 for a 1.2 Corsa at 18. I'm now in my late 20's ( ) and its under £150.

Try Performance Direct. I can't fault them at all and my 944 Turbo was only £150 - although I've got age on my side!

Have you tried putting someone on as a named second driver who is older/clean license lots of no claims etc like a parent as that can often lower the quote?
