just got my renewal from footman james was  £125 last year this year £294 what gives   :dontknow: ( dont rememember gold plating the engine   ) anyone else having probs  time to go looking elsewhere me thinks 1.8 auto cabby

Insurance is up by about 20% across the board mate, this isn't an exclusive Footman James issue. All I can advise is to call them and ask for a little more off the top. Also I see you're not a paid member, sign up
 pay the £15 and get the discount, that'll help too!

yeah, i couldnt find any classic car insurance that would cover me 3rd party on other cars anyway cos of the type of policy.

Also peter best told me if im creeping up to my mileage allowance and wana up it, give them a call and they will let me know how much extra it would be for duration of policy.

i thought mine was mint just over £100, and im 27 clipper cab with 3.5k agreed value and 3k mileage limit
