HELP! 17 and need cheap insurance
ive looked on numerous websites and got nowhere under ?3000 with mods declared on my insurance
modds are lowered on 70mm shocks and springs plus some 15" ronal ls alloys
so any help is appreciated as ive wanted a golf since i was like 10 lol
if all else fails i would have to put it back to all original size springs and back to some steels

Alternatively, do you have a parent or someone older to sign you on as a named driver? I know you miss a years no-claims, but it was worth it for me when I was first starting out.

As I said, the only way I was ever able to get insured was on my mums policy. I think the reduction in price being insured on her policy was worth the lack of no claims in the long run.
Have you tried a multi-car policy or anything like that?

I use Admiral. Currently fully comp on a 2004 Audi A3 2.0 FSi - I have a theft claim so only 3 years NCB and my renewal just came through at a shade over ?400. They've insured me since I started driving.

Yes I've tried but my dads with tesco and they don't insure cars 24 years and older but I've just got back from looking at it and it's more than likely going to be put back to standard so insurance shouldn't be to bad if I get it
