TomTom, Lawsy has been working on loads of discounts for members including insurance. He was in talks with various companies for a good deal for under 25's. pm him under "Lawsy"(his first name is Steve by the way) and I'm sure he can let you know who came top. You would have to be a member to recieve the discounts though… at ?15 you'd probably save ?100's on insurance alone but it is free from pressure mate it's completely your choice.

I've found personally that Brentacre and Peter Best were the cheapest for me, obviously it could be a different story if your only 19

TomTom I just thought… Dan from Adian Flux may be able to help if you pm him. He's a new person on here and I beleive Lawsy asked him to join us. Dan sounds helpful in his posts so far so you may want to pm him for on what you should do. You may get discount if you become a member but I'm not sure on that. His username is DAN_ADRIANFLUX mate.

dude, i've just started a policy with HIC, I'm also 19 with 2 years NCB, also driving a mk1 gti golf my policy is around ?1200 (with mods; lowered, alloys, de-bumpered and badgeless grill), which is the cheapest i could find (contacted about 20 different companies), but i had to get an immobiliser fitted, which was only ?80…
