GTi - how many 18 year olds??

its the big 18 in a couple o weeks and my gti cravings are getting stronger!! is anyone insured on a gti at this age, how much and with who?
it would be an ammendment to my current golf policy, ?1150 on a 1.1 but my new age will be taken into consideration…..hopefully!! :?

oh, and will anyone offer classic insurance/limited miles policy/second vehicle etc to an 18 year old?

nobody will give you a classic policy until you are 19.

and i think location of the car is a biggy when you get a quote so make sure it has a garage or somewhere

I went on confused.com, the best it came up with was ?1300 for a 19yo male without NCB, fully comp, on a 1.6 GTI..

"Too good to be true?" I thought - yes, it is.  Went onto the site, they'd quoted on a Golf 1.6 LS.  1979, not 1982 as I'd specified!  Losers.

Who're you guys with?  I've got club membership that gives me discount with Adrian Flux.. would it apply to this car, and do you think they'd just laugh down the phone?

not modified.. just standard 1.3 driver..

the cheapest i could find that was  :cry: directline i think

Get a quote with www.liverpoolvictoria.co.uk - not now, not when it says "Quick quote" (off-peak).  Try during the day/early evening sometime.  I got quoted with them ?1k for a 1.5 GX fully comp, I'm 18 without any NCB.
