Not bad at all! I assume all are standard though. What limited mileage? I found that this is the biggest influence over the price.

Mileage is unlimited.  Cab does have a backbox on it, told them though.

The South Yorkshire thing bumps up the price. Car crime pretty high in these here parts…. Footman James still the cheapest I found though.

Somewhere on here there's a listing of postcodes and the 'bands' that insurance companies put them into, to assess the risk due to location.

Do you have to be 21 by any chance, im on my dads at the moment. Only 17 so insurance is steep.

Three times as much? Going to phone them, hear lots of storys of people getting their renewal than phoning with exactly same details as a new customer and getting a better deal.

I hate the entire automotive industry, everything from buying, servicing petrol, road tax and insurance is a scam where you get ripped off…..

With faffing around with GTIs MOT didn't get much time to phone around. Stuck with FJ this time but did save @?30+ by using my 10% club discount which sweetened the deal a little. Next year I will be more organised and try and get a better deal or move somewhere else.
