Footman James a no go if your under 25!

I phoned Footman James this morning and was told that they couldn't insure me because I'm 24 and they dont insure people under the age of 25 even if I joined this club.
 
They told me I had to be 25 for them to be able to insure me with them, I couldn't believe it, so it looks like I'm sticking with ENDSLEIGH insurers for the 5th year running now.
 
For this year they have quoted me ?263.52 which is more than I was hoping for but is this good?

 If anyone knows of a better cheaper insurance company please let me know as I feel like a change,

 Ive got until the 11th Feb to find one!  

Try HIC, they always seem to be quite good.

Im with HIC and there think it was about ?260 with agreed value, 5000 miles a year including some business for me and my hubby (though dont use it work often) im 25 and have 4 years no claims and have been driving for 5 years. So I dont think your quote was too bad.

The best thing I found about been 25 is your excess goes goes down but apart from that nothing much changed.

bugger i was hoping to try them today as im looking to swop all mine around..

in fact thinking about it, my fisrt mini was covered by them i 2002, new driver on a classic policy.... :?

and rov 2 with mods engine changed to a 1.9td is costing me ?300 and churchill quoted me over ?1000!!!!!
