Went onto confused.com to look for insurance - im 25 this month, have a 83 1.8 gti with no NCB (been on dads policy), and use it as my daily.  Best quote confused came up with was ?897 fully comp,  went on footman james site and they have quoted ?286!!!!  Cant believe that! How can all the others justify being so expensive!!

Have a guess who I'm going with!

FJ usually are much cheaper. If you become a member of the club you'll get discount insurance  - plus as you'll be over 25 ok with the GTI too :wink:
