Do mk1 gti merrit classic car insurance?

Hi all whats the best way to insure my mk1 gti, i have 11 years no claims bonus but its being used on my impreza, i will need the mk1 insured for very low miles per year.

Any suggestions? what can i expect to pay - 30 years old in herts

You could do worse that joining the club as a member and getting a discount through Footman James. Obviously its worth phoning around different insurers, etc. Is the car a second car or the main one?
