Avoid Footman James & Adrian Flux!

I can't believe the rip off prices these two charge.  I'm 41 y/o with no accidents or convictions and over 10 years NCD.

£411.30 Flux
£330.15 Footman

£234.98 with my current insurer Swiftcover for a much higher level of cover and no restrictions on use.

So much for Classic Car cover from so called 'specialist' insurance brokers!  What a joke.

I think you'll find insurance companies are all different with different focuses. if you have had a less than favorable experience then I would in the first instance view it in isolation and ask myself and the insurers why? In the second instance I would take a balanced view looking at overall member experiences. Only after I'd satisfied myself that the insurers were at fault would I use a post title such as this.

Your call.

Thanks Tian.  I used to work for an insurance company, and am fully aware of the risks used by underwriters in structuring policy costs.  I live in a low risk area, have loads of NCD, no claims/convictions, a garage for the car, good security.  That is why I used the title I did.

I assume you asked for a reason, what was it?

You'll agree that on balance the range of Insurance companies supporting the Club with discounts despite being broad simply wont be a perfect fit for everyone, that's life. I appreciate you might feel miffed and I have no issue with that as in the same position I might do too but, it's an inflammatory post title leaving little room for discussion.

At the end of the day, nothing is ever that black & white.

Hello.
I'm sorry if we weren't competitive on your details. Unfortunately it would be impossible for the likes of us and footman James to be the best on every risk we quote.
Regards.
Dan.
