Agreed Valuation vs Actual Payouts
Hi Guys
I have always heard / experienced that you only know how good an insurance company is when you actually need to claim.
I'm probably gona curse myself but in my 12 or so years driving i only had one insurance case which wasnt my fault and it went relatively well.
In regards to agreed valuations, have people exprienced that price being paid out no questions asked, or is it still a bum fight to prove the value on the car?
Just a few of us were discussing it at a show Sunday so thought i would post up
Cheers
Rich

Good question, we have just renewed our insurance with churchill with an agreed fixed value of £5000 but they never asked how we came to that figure. Now obviously if our car is written off and we have to claim from our insurance that i hope it would be a simple payout but if someone else were to right off the car and we went thru thier insurance then i guess we would only get the book price which would be a pittance. Hmmm interesting…….
