Agreed mileage

Just rang up to see how much it would cost to up my mileage from 3k a year. To go to 6k would be ?150 extra and unlimited would be ?475 extra 8O  8O  8O

WTF is that all about? I only paid ?203 for the policy in the first place!
Don't have a garage anymore so i guess there are 3 choices:
1.Cough up
2.Leave car to stand and rot
3.Sell car

Company is Footman James and agreed value of 4k. Had to use car for work so mileage has gone up a lot,maybe buy a cheap banger but that means another car to pay for and run.  :dontknow:

Think its a case of they know they have got you as your already insured with them. Given them price hikes though may actually be worth seeing what other companies will do from scratch and suffer a cacelation penalty.

just tell em youve been quoted ?150 unlimited mileage. theyre bound to try matching it.
