Adrian Flux Versus Footman James

ok so this is a camper van, but me & my fella been driving years cant use our no claims as there on other vehicles, weve both been insured with adrian flux before with our mk1`s and they wanted £ 334.00 for both of us fully comp with no legal cover or breakdown, but ……. Footman James both of us fully comp unlimited mileage legal cover uk & european breakdown cover agreed value & legal protection 193.65p for us both for the year very very impressed & dissapointed with Flux always swore by them before just shows u eh shop around :)

tbh i always used footman james, always good service . i had to make a claim and they were very good in dealing with it .
i have recently changed to adrian flux . quite a bit dearer , have done a change of car and admin fees were steep  ……not had  to claim but in future i  will  go back to footman james .

Mk1 2l TSR G60.  .getting. There twice as fast

Mk1 lhd diesel…….getting. There for half the cost

ive insured a total of 8 vehicles over the last 3years with adrian flux, never again.
the renewal for the gti was £150  thats 20% more than last year, the campers due in a couple of weeks but they wont get my biusiness.
I can understand increases if fair, but the galling thing is though , I rang to see if they could bring the price down and was told they couldn`t but if i got a cheaper quote elsewhere they`d beat it…
I beat it alright with footman james £120 which was underwritten by equity redstar, the same company flux were quoting £150.

Got mine from a company called Roland Smith in Liverpool. Footman James quoted £191, R.S. quoted £109.

Both fully comp, agreed value and a limited mileage of 3000 but that can be upped as and when/ if required.

If anyone rings them, ask for 'the non schemes dept'

Lost a bit of faith in Adrian Flux as they've just put my insurance on my other car up by about 40%, that can't be good eh!!!

They're just a Broker mate, it's NIG who have apparently removed their services!
