Adrian Flux

Having just posted a list of things that don't work, I thought that it might be an idea to redress the balance.

Adrian Flux are the dog's danglies for customer service and as all around good eggs.

Tim, do they do agreed valuations ?

As I am with Lancasyer just now and want an agreed valuation when I renew.

I used them a while back on an Alfa 147 and they were brilliant - for the first year. When it came to renewal they increased the premium by £200. Needless to say I changed insurers.

Basically they're just brokers, helpful one yes but brokers after all and open to whatever the actual insurers throw at them.

Yes, they do agreed valuations. I supplied photos of all aspects of the vehicle plus interior and engine bay - extra cost was around £15.

This was a very wise move when some clown clipped the offside light and the repair bill was £3k+ without the valuation I would received the minimal value of the car.

I have recently came across with the same and found Adrian Flux as weird. Is there any other alternative?

I cannot comment to much on thier customer service as my only experience has been when taking out the insurance and renewals, but in terms of premium, the agreed valuation , and them asking what i consider to be the right questions they were spot on.

no one could touch them on price when i did the calling around at renewal time.

I just got a quote from Adrian Flux for our 1989 Clipper, all modifications inc paint, wheels, interior and everything else, fixed value of £5000, fully comp, 6 years ncd and it came in at £400. The car is insured through Churchill anyway and for the same costs me £150. I have a C200 Merc too and that is £200 p.a. Both cars are less to insure than AF's quote for one. I will stay with Churchill i think.
