Hi,
I have put a 20vt conversion into my 1.3 driver.
Do people have recommendations of good cheap insurance, and do I change the engine size on the logbook?
I am a 22 year old lad with no no- claims.
Cheers!

I would recommend insuring it under a classic car policy mate for starters. Try the forum recommended places including Carol Nash, Adrian Flux, Footman james and Premium Choice.
If you have another car insured in your name that will help as well along with limited mileage. I think it's not going to be cheap though due to your age mate.
I am also doing a 20v conversion and would be interested in seeing some pics

Alright mate, I'm not expecting it to be cheap I've kind of just been doing the project without actually thinking about driving it and insuring it lol. Will begin to ring around for some quotes.
Hopefully I will start a build thread very soon, I keep meaning to start it as Ive got a big back log of photos. Just struggle for time what with work and in a hurry to get it finished. There will be a full build thread at some point though, start to finish!

£900. I'll have to ring my insurers and see what mine is going be now. Thought it would be a small increase

£900's pretty good, I'm expecting a fair bit over a grand tbf.
Jimbob, what info did you have to give the insurance company, like proof of value and anything like that?
Also do you have a cat 1 alarm fitted or anything else that brings the price down?
