1.1L to G60 conversion

Hi,

Bought my 1st MK1 and have stripped it down all except the engine bay, would like complete a full restore and conversion but not sure how happy the insurance bigwigs will be insuring a new driver with a G60 modified MK1. Any recomendations and how much i might be looking at?

try to get a quote before you go down that route, and i do mean try! hic are good with moded golf mk1's

when you say new driver how new exactly???

depends on age realy but hic where happy to insure me on a modified mk1 g60 on the basis of me having 1 years no claims, was 21 at the time
